"The Speedway Chapter of 10-X is now QRT" “The Speedway Chapter of 10-X International Net” Requirements for Membership: Work 1 SQ (Special Qualifier) or CL (Charter Local), and Submit QSO info along with a statement of Paid Up 10-X Dues, and 2 First Class Stamps (If you want a paper Certificate). If you wish a Membership Number Only, you can Submit just the SQ or CL QSO info, with a Request for a Number Only along with a SASE if using Snail Mail. If you have a 10-X number, and are not currently a paid up dues member you may still participate as a Speedway Chapter Member anyway. You Will have a Membership Number, and will still have full chapter upgrade, and participation privileges, and Special participation privileges as well. All are encouraged to remain 10-X Paid up Dues Members. ALL Participation QSO’s MUST be made over the Air ON the 10 Meter Band. NO Internet QSO’s please! All requests, and submissions may be made via Email or Snail Mail (your choice). Snail Mail requests, and submissions must include an SASE for a Snail Mail response. Upgrade program: Upgrades may be submitted either through Email or Snail Mail. Snail Mail Upgrades must include SASE. Point Upgrades are based on contacts, and their points. Seals program: Seals are based on the 7 Communication & Safety Flags used at most Motor Sports events IE: NASCAR, USAC, World of Outlaws, and all Tracks/Speedways around the world. Seals are as follows #1. GREEN FLAG + 5pts for U. Requires 25 ctx & your pts have reached 100 #2. YELLOW FLAG + 7pts for U. Requires 50 ctx & your pts have reached 200 #3. BLUE FLAG + 10pts for U. Requires submit 75 Green & 75 Yellow Flag Seals #4. BLACK FLAG + 15pts for U. Requires 125 ctx + your pts have reached 450pts #5. RED FLAG + 17pts for U. Requires 175 ctx + 100 of each previous Flag Seals #6. WHITE FLAG + 20pts for U. Requires 250 ctx + 100 of each previous Flag Seals #7. CHECKERED FLAG + 100pts for U. Requires 500 ctx + 100 of each previous Flag Seals Points rate = 1 Point for each 150 Points submitted till points reach 3,000 then 1 Point for each 350 Points submitted till points reach 5,000 then 1 Point for each 500 Points submitted Contacts = 1 Contact per member 1 time only. Mystery Driver The only Speedway Chapter “SPECIAL EVENT” will be 1 each year in November for the Yearly Season’s Point Championships. Full details will be released each year in September & October. Those who participate in the Special Event will receive the 5x9 AWARD & Certificate. 5x9 AWARD Numbers will be collectible for 5 points each one time only. Convention Seals will be issued to those who participate in Convention Nets, and or contact Convention attendees while at the various Conventions. Convention Seals are collectible at 5 points each one time only. Speedway Chapter Nets: Chapter Nets will be held on 3rd Thursday of each month at 19:30 UTC on 28.350 + or - QRM/QRN. The Special will be run between 00:01 utc November 1, 2014 to 23:59 utc November 30, 2014 This 24 Hours of LeMans Special is for Europe and the USA this year due to better propagation. For 2014 the Special is based on the World Famous, and Historic "Le Mans" Race Course. Special Designators are various parts of the Race Course. There are 17 Designators. Each set of 17 Designators collected will be 1 Lap with 100 Laps possible. Each Designator SET / Lap will be worth 100 Points for 1 SET & 1 point per designator for the Special ONLY Deadline for submitting Special log is December 17, 2014. All who submit a November Special Log will receive a 5x9 Award that is collectable by ALL members for + 5 points each 1 time only.
